Retrain the brain

I stumbled across this the other day on facebook and I would love to credit whoever came up with this, but I’m not sure.  This is such a good example of the goal of changing the way you think.  With mental health conditions, our brain gets so programmed to think in a certain way which is usually pretty unhelpful.

But change can happen and it takes trying out some new thoughts, adopting new perspectives, and practicing over and over and over.

I hope you enjoy this little example and let it be a motivator to move yourself toward new helpful thinking.
